I am sitting at home now...about to go find food. I have been crafting like crazy! I am so happy I have the great friends I do!

Yes, Sara...you are right.  I never once thought I would be immune to the first year, but haha...I think I was making it out to be a little worse than I thought.

ANYWAYS, I had a good long talk with myself, and I think I came to some conclusions.  I also talked to a friend who has been married for 43 years and asked some advice.  His insight was invaluable and his remark of, "the hardest year or marriage is the one you are in" made me realize how truthful his words were.

It must have also been the weather yesterday.  Rainy days are not my favs and it was my day off.  I felt stuck in the house obliged to tackle a mound of laundry bigger than I am.

It is done, I feel better...and I move forward on this unknown called life.

I have been feeling weird lately and I don't know what to do about it.  What is wrong with me and why do I feel this way?

Is it wrong to be upset when what you like gets laughed off? ...am I selfish, too childish?

I wish I knew what to do...some people understand, but they aren't the ones who should...

I have so much to write!  Wedding invitations and graduation invitations not to mention I need to start on Thank You cards for my last two wedding showers.  Sheesh! 

I am so tired, yet I have so much left to do.  It will soon be all over tho.

Hello all!

Long time no write, and for that I am sorry.  I am writing due to that fact that I haven't done so in a while, and also a friend just added me and clearly noted that I don't seem to write in here anymore.  I once loved you so, LJ...what happened?

Well, I have been busy with my last semester of college (for now until I become crazy and decide to get my Masters) and planning a wedding.  I am graduating from UAH on May 11th and getting married on June 7th.  We just recently put a offer on a house and will be closing on May 30th.  Needless to say, life is going fast! 

My current goal, besides slowly gaining back my sanity and finishing my wedding planning, is to find a "big-girl job."  Now, don't get me wrong, Starbucks has been good to me, I have learned a lot, and I LOVE my crew...but...I didn't go to school for 5 years to work as a shift supervisor at Starbucks for the rest of my life! :P 

GOOD NEWS! 

May 4th I am going to meet one of my favorite authors, "Erin Hunter," who writes the Warriors series, in Nashville and I am truly excited!  On May 6th I am seeing the Chinese show that is coming to town and I am also excited about that (I love anything Asian) :D

I made "Erin Hunter" some cat plushie that are two of the main characters from the books...see pics below: (TREMBLE AT MY AWESOME SEWING SKILLS)  -ha ha-

Anywho, they are Firestar and Cinderpelt!  I hope she thinks me not a dork, but I am honestly her #1 fan!

Well, this is all for now...perhaps I will gain back my writing groove and update more often, I know you all enjoy my life so!

Just got back from chilling with Rosie (aka Ninjarosie) and I am feeling a little sleepy. We were starting our plushie project but her sewing machine is not acting right, but hopefully her mom can fix it soon so we can start again :) We decided to list the children series that we really want to read and start reading them and then doing a book review journal club as well as a little craft club to meet once or twice a month...I am so excited! This year is almost over and next year will not only be my last year of school but also the year I become Mrs. Bradford :) So I will totally need my friends and hobbies to keep me sane and then occupied through the rest of the year.

Here is to hoping I do well in my last semester of school and that when I do graduate I can get a sweet job at the library or something similar ASAP to get the hell out of Starbucks ;)

I am thankful for my family, friends, Jarrod, my kitties, and good books and food! :P

I am sure everyone knows now...but I finally got engaged! I hate my job....but I graduate in May and then I am getting married in June...so what can I say? Life is pretty great right now, and I won't complain. We went and registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond today...that was fun!

So, Jarrod and I have been house hunting for a few days...it is crazy! Life is coming so fast! I will be graduating next year and then next thing I know we will be doing the wedding thing...*whew* So getting a house now and such is a good idea (saves from doing all that when trying to settle into life) plus we really want to get out of his current house. We are in the process of fixing up his current one and then putting it on the market! CRAZY! Anyways, on a side note we may be getting a dog soon (a female jack russell mix) she is sweet and not too hyper :P Now, how will she react to the kitties (or vice versa)? I hope it works out cause I have been wanting a doggie :) OK, sorry I have been MIA on this thing, too m uch happening at once. His roommate is moving out soon so it will just be us again, which isn't too bad :) I need to get to the career services or something before I shoot myself at Starbucks (OMG)!

Cannot wait for Panoply, Harry Potter, and the new Warriors stuff that is coming out! :)

Well school is done for now...I have done the shopping and work is ok (althoug h the people are annoying me!) OH, Jarrod and I are AWESOME! I have to clean for my party tomorrow. I brought my cat Sassy home from Athens to stay with me in my Apt. Kahlua and Cinder are great. I had a long lost friend from HS invite me to lunch. Things are good :) I had dinner with my Aunt tonight and it was YUMMY! Yesterday was Jarrod's Dad's birthday and he is still in Iraq...I got to send him an email and I miss him so...

Today was better for us...I cooked :)

I am in in tech writing and I am bored out of my mind. I got to pay rent today...BLARG! Taekwondo tonight (yay) and then studying. I am worried about Jarrod, he has been having weird dreams lately *sigh* I am trying hard to get through this bump we seem to have hit.

I just feel so helpless and lonely right now and I HATE WORK (for the moment) and did I mention...

I AM B-O-R-E-D

However, my bday is this month so YAY!

For those who have never read Warriors, you all suck! You should, and you would love them! I am in the computer lab at school "working" in my tech writing class...but now it is 5 mintues till we get out, I just wanted to say that...yeah!

*Good things:
- Jarrod and I are swell
- Cats are great
- I cooked tonight
- I went to see my grandparents today
- Classes are going well
- Taekwondo is still fun

*Bad Things:
- I am nervous about TKD testing
- I know classes will kick my ass eventually
- Work might not be so well (we'll see)
- I miss my dad
- I only got to see Jarrod's dad a bit before he left for Iraq
- I don't see my grandparents enough
